Game Day Sloppy Joes

Serves 8 to 10

2 pounds ground beef

1 cup diced onion

1 cup diced bell pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste

¾ cup water

¼ cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon adobo sauce

1 tsp chili powder

1 tablespoon house seasoning

8-10 hamburger buns, split and lightly toasted


2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 (8-ounce) bag potato chips

1 cup French onion dip


In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef, onion, pepper and garlic, and cook until meat is no longer pink. Drain excess fat from skillet. Add the remaining ingredients to the ground beef mixture and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.


Add equal amounts of shredded cheese to each bun bottom, then top with some sloppy Joe mixture. Add some chips for a nice crunch, followed by a dollop of French onion dip. Replace with bun top.
