I have some GREAT news! I recently signed with a publishing company and I am writing my very first cookbook. I'm super excited.
The title is Meals from the Mitten ~ Celebrating The Seasons In Michigan.
I have always wanted to write a cookbook that celebrates all the fresh and local ingredients that we grow here, in my home state of Michigan. Michigan is also known as the mitten. So my book is aptly named, Meals from the Mitten.
Did you know that Michigan produces more than 300 commodities? Michigan is the second most diverse agriculture industry in the nation, just behind California. Everyone is well aware of California cuisine, so I figured it was about time to make sure that everyone knew about Michigan cuisine and all of the amazing things that are grown right here in the great state of Michigan.
Here is a preview of the cookbook that will be available in the Spring of 2018. The cookbook is $35 and will feature over 75 recipes.
