Bacon Horseradish Turkey BLT

November 21, 2018

Who's ready for Thanksgiving? I have some easy tips and tricks to transform your favorite Thanksgiving dishes using Heluva Good! Dips. Here are a few of my favorite ones! Tune into My West Michigan on WZZM TV13 on Wednesday, November 21st, to see these recipes in action.

How do you like to use your leftover Thanksgiving turkey? I like to make a Bacon Horseradish Turkey BLT. These are delicious!

Bacon Horseradish Turkey BLT

Heluva Good! Bacon Horseradish Dip

Bread, toasted

Thick-cut bacon slices, cooked

Leftover turkey

Tomato slices

Slather Bacon Horseradish Dip on one side of each toasted bread slice. Next add some bacon, turkey, lettuce, and tomato. Top with the other bread slice (dip side down) and cut in half.

Heluva Good! Dips are found in the dairy case of your local supermarkets, such as Meijer, Family Fare, and D&W Fresh Markets.

Heluva Good! Dips are fresh, creamy dips that come in bold flavors such as French Onion, Buttermilk Ranch, and Bacon Horseradish.

One of the most versatile ingredients for holiday entertaining is a delicious French Onion Dip.

You can set it out with a cruditè platter for your guests to enjoy, or use it as a creative condiment for your holiday recipes. I'm using the French Onion Dip to add flavor to mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving and also using the Bacon Horseradish Dip on a Turkey BLT to spice up your Thanksgiving leftovers.

A great way to add flavor to your mashed potatoes is to add some Heluva Good! Dips to the potatoes. I like to add the French Onion Heluva Good! Dip to my mashed potatoes and then make a French Fried Onion Potato Soup using the leftovers.

French Fried Onion Potato Soup

(Serves 2)

1 cup leftover mashed potatoes

1/4 cup French Onion Heluva Good! Dip

1 cup French Onion soup

1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup French Fried Onions

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Stir mashed potatoes and dip together in a small bowl. Evenly divide mixture into two oven-safe soup bowls. Evenly divide soup over the potatoes, then sprinkle on the cheese and French fried onions. Heat in oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
